This is one of those “why didn’t I think of this” ideas. SPRANQ creative communications created a font that uses up to 20% less ink then your standard font. The font doesn’t tell your printer to use less ink; it just has holes in the letters- brilliant! It works pretty well as a sans serif replacement for basic office communications. We have noticed that it looks better as a small font, rather then as titles.

The font is available for free at ecofont.eu. If you plan on using this on a regular basis, there is a donation link on the site. SPRANQ plans on using donations to help develop version 3.0 of the Ecofont.
